Check 1 shows the number and percentage of transmission logs (PRG files for transmission dates in reported week) submitted by Station - within three days of transmission, within 7 days and after 7 days:
- The results will show submission period for first successful submission only
- Total count by Station in summary report can be maximum 7 – less if some logs were not submitted at all before reports are produced
Recommendation
Submitting TX logs with populated Content IDs both by TX+3 and at least two working days before publication of consolidated linear data (TX+8) ensures that content metadata will be processed in time for accurate Dovetail reporting.
Please note that Dovetail calibration and genre coding cannot be guaranteed for Content IDs that are submitted in TX logs after TX+3 or less than two working days before publication.
Playtime in summary and detail version is based on Content IDs available in first successfully submitted TX log:
- If same Content is broadcast on multiple stations, the playtime will be duplicated among them
- In 4 screen dashboard all the viewing will be attributed to the Station with earliest transmission
- Playtime will reflect measured viewing against that particular Content ID and will not include other versions (that can be linked via Parent BCID)
